We have had a spotacular Children in Need Day. At playtime & lunchtime, there were colouring competitions to enter as well as basketball and hockey challenges and a penalty shoot out.
Fantastic Spotacular assembly this morning for Children in Need. The children looked wonderful in their bright spotty clothes and the numerous Pudsey and Blush outfits. We are amazed at all the fantastic entries in the edible Pudsey competition
Children in Need – Friday 16th November 2018. Dress in bright or spotty clothes OR bright spotty clothes £1.00! There will be a competition for all children with great prizes for the best Pudsey cake or Pudsey edible creation! Joy is preparing a special lunch.

Its Anti-bullying week. The theme for the week is ‘Choose Respect’ The children have activities in class over the week to help them understand, raise awareness prevent and help There is lots of support online too.
We were delighted to be participating at the Remembrance service in Crewe on Sunday and were proud to have been part of such an important occasion. The school council were fantastic ambassadors representing Mablins Lane School

As part of our WWI Commemoration Week, the children and staff dressed up for our special day. Joy in the kitchen baked every child a special biscuit and cooked war food for school dinners today!
In our special Remembrance Assembly this morning, Clive, the Vice Chair of the Minshull Vernon & District Parish Council, and his wife came and gave a special commemorative coin to every child in the school. A big thank you to the Parish Council & Clive and his wife for coming.
