This week has been a very special week. We have focussed on being kind. We read a special book all about being kind and welcoming new people. We looked at refugees and how they feel. We talked about how we can be kind to them. The book donates 1 pound from each sale to the charity Three Peas. This charity helps refugees. We received a postcard from Ali a boy who had to flee his country because of the bad things happening there. Then we looked at our country and shared how it was a nice, peaceful place to live. Together we discussed tolerance and shared how we value and respect all cultures.

We created art work in kindness jars sharing how to be kind.. We also wrote postcards and tags sharing about how fab England because of our British Values. Await the display…

Remember, it doesn’t matter where you are from, what you look like or what faith you believe we respect you, love you and value you here at Mablins Lane.
